    you never gave up on us,
even though at time you could have.

    you always love us,
no matter what happened.

    we learn so much from you,
even though we never showed it.

    you gave us the courage to face your fears,
even when we ran away.

    we made mistakes,
even though you told us what was going to happen.

we never had the words to pressour true feelings.

but, on this day,
the only word we can say is..
